i did manage to go running three mornings last week. i even almost made it two miles on saturday. (i think it was not quite, but i haven't checked gmaps pedometer yet.) and i got myself out of bed and into running gear and out on the sidewalk this morning and realized... "hey, my knees kinda hurt". then went about a block more and thought, "nope, my knees really hurt, i should probably not do this", and came home. grrr.
i can research, of course, and i plan to go into my local nifty store and have them check out my shoes and stride, but i'd love to also hear from you. what are your favorite injury preventing ideas? what actually works for you in real life?
